Minutes of 2nd meeting of BOG for TEQIP-II held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (Punjab) on 27th April, 2015 at 11.30 a.m.

The following BOG members were present:

2. Prof. Hardeep Singh, Professor, Dept. of Comp. Sc.
3. Prof. (Mrs.) Sukhleen Bindra, Department of Electronics .
4. Prof. K.S. Kahlon, Department of Computer Sc. & Engg.
5. Prof. Gurvinder Singh, Dept. of Comp. Sc. (Special Invitee)
6. Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Dept. of Comp. Engg. & Tech. (Special Invitee)
7. Mr. Amit Chhabra, Dept. of Comp. Engg. & Tech. (Special Invitee)

The following topics were approved by the committee:

1. Approval of appointment of Dean, Academic Affairs, GND University, Amritsar as Nodal Officer of TEQIP-II project by virtue of the office/post.
2. Establishment of Procurement, Finance and MIS & academic institutional TEQIP-II units In order to meet the growing work demands of Procurement, Finance, MIS & academic modules. (as per annexure – I).
3. Delegation of the powers to TEQIP-II Coordinator for approving the names of Faculty Members/Staff for attending various National/International Workshops/Conferences /Seminars etc. and to approve the TA/DA to the Faculty Members/Staff for attending the same as per TEQIP-II rules.
4. An imprest amount of Rs. 50,000/- to be kept with TEQIP-II Coordinator for disimbursement of various day-to-day sundry expenditures and to delegate the powers to sanction money from imprest for day-to-day expenditure.
5. Delegation of the powers to BOG Chairman for approving the changes in procurement plan, dates, prices and items to be procured for TEQIP-II project.
